There is a common misconception that Beer Pong is a male-dominated sport. In reality, it provides the battle of the sexes a level—though sometimes beer-soaked—playing field. Men and women compete side by side, as equals. If there are any charges of gender bias, one would only need to point to some of the preferential rules for women (like defensive blowing) to understand that Beer Pong is a sport with a truly glassless ceiling. When a simple joke was picked up by major media as fact, it spread like wild fire.
